Appointments
Physical/Well Child Exams
We recommend that parents call at least 4 weeks in advance to schedule a complete physical exam
in order to obtain the preferred date and time. For well-child visits that are often scheduled only
months apart, we suggest that parents schedule their child's future exams before leaving the office.
Expectant Parents/New Babies
We encourage expectant parents to consult with us prior to the birth of their child. This enables
you as parents to begin establishing a relationship with your child's pediatrician. In addition, this
allows familiarity with the office and staff, as well as the opportunity to have questions answered
prior to delivery. New babies should be seen within 2-3 days of discharge from the hospital in
order to evaluate feeding concerns, jaundice, and general well-being.
Sick Visits
We attempt to schedule appointments for sick children the same day if able. Emergencies and
serious illnesses that are time sensitive take priority over other illnesses. Every child is important
to us, and we strive to provide care in a timely manner.
First Appointment
We suggest bringing the following items to a first visit:
- Medical records if your child has a history of a serious or chronic illness/disease
- Immunization records for every child
- List of medications for the child
- Insurance card
