Meet Our Team

Meredith A. Byington, MD, FAAP

Dr. Byington is a Texas native and a graduate of North Mesquite High School. She worked as a registered nurse with Parkland’s Homeless Outreach Medical Services for five years, then returned to medical school.

Dr. Byington earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Upon graduating from residency, Dr. Byington was the recipient of the Greater Dallas Pediatric Society “White Hat Award,” an honor awarded by her medical colleagues who were asked to choose a pediatrician using the criteria of “whom they would choose for their own children.”

Dr. Byington established Kaleidoscope Kids in 2006 to address the need for quality pediatric care in Crandall and the surrounding communities.

Dr. Byington is the mother of three children. She is involved in the community and a member of various Crandall ISD committees. Dr. Byington and her family have lived locally since 1997.
