Kaleidoscope Kids specializes in the medical care of newborns, children, adolescents and young adults. We are specialists in diagnosing and treating diseases and disorders of childhood. Our goal is to provide high quality, comprehensive care for our patients.
Through regularly scheduled well checks, we provide guidance for growth, development, nutrition and behavioral milestones. We work with parents to help every child reach his/her potential. Maintaining the physical, mental, and emotional health of your child is our priority. You will be able to discuss all of these issues and other general concerns with the pediatrician during well checks.

Physical/Well Child Exams
We recommend that parents call at least 4 weeks in advance to schedule a complete physical exam in order to obtain the preferred date and time. For well-child visits that are often scheduled only months apart, we suggest that parents schedule their child's future exams before leaving the office.
Expectant Parents/New Babies
We encourage expectant parents to consult with us prior to the birth of their child. This enables you as parents to begin establishing a relationship with your child's pediatrician. In addition, this allows familiarity with the office and staff, as well as the opportunity to have questions answered prior to delivery. New babies should be seen within 2-3 days of discharge from the hospital in order to evaluate feeding concerns, jaundice, and general well-being.
We attempt to schedule appointments for sick children the same day if able. Emergencies and serious illnesses that are time sensitive take priority over other illnesses. Every child is important to us, and we strive to provide care in a timely manner.
We suggest bringing the following items to a first visit:
- Medical records if your child has a history of a serious or chronic illness/disease
- Immunization records for every child
- List of medications for the child
- Insurance card
